New Monsieur Dior by Anne-Sophie Pic Restaurant Opens in Osaka
An ode to dreams and taste.
Monsieur Dior by Anne-Sophie Pic Osaka
In the vibrant Shinsaibashi district, at the heart of the House of Dior Osaka, enhanced by architect Sou Fujimoto's undulating facade, the Monsieur Dior by Anne-Sophie Pic restaurant extends the imaginative world of the House of Dior. This "realm of dreams," spread across four floors and featuring a monumental staircase, reveals the various Dior universes in a refined setting with luminous hues, conceived by Peter Marino and magnified by the timeless codes of the House of Dior. Echoing Christian Dior's artistic friendships, he was also a gallerist, this museum-like boutique hosts works by Christian Bérard, Claude Lalanne, Franck Evennou, and Tim Hailand, while Azuma Makoto's floral compositions reinvent Ikebana and recall the couturier's passion for gardens.
In this setting of art, fashion, and poetry, Anne-Sophie Pic, the world's most Michelin-starred female chef, creates a bespoke menu inspired by Dior emblems, from cannage to the oval, from the bee to the leopard. Poetically named The Blank Canvas, The Beehive or The Flowered Garden, her dishes play with ingredients, textures, and movements, reinventing French culinary classics with singular grace.
