Maison Pic, the art of subtle renewal

In Valence, Maison Pic opens a new chapter with the transformation of its reception areas: the entrance, private lounges, main lounge, and bar are reinvented in a subdued, elegant, and luminous atmosphere. True to the soul of this house, shaped by three generations of chefs, Anne-Sophie Pic and David Sinapian continue its evolution with exacting standards, accompanied by interior designer Mickaël Gouret.

The project reveals the beauty of the existing architecture: vaults, curves, and perspectives, thanks to a subtle interplay of light and materials. Right from the entrance, a wall of Michelin guides serves as a reminder of the venue's gastronomic history, while wood, brass, light stone, and soft hues create a feeling of warmth and depth.

The journey naturally unfolds from the reception to the lounge, the bar, the private lounges, the Pic Boutique, and the Pic*** Restaurant. Inspired by the garden's curves, a central pathway guides the eye and creates a fluid flow. Shimmering beige stone, dark carpet, camel leathers, smoked oak, patinated brass, and Calacatta Viola marble compose a refined palette, blending Provençal spirit, the Drôme landscape, and contemporary design.

At the heart of this metamorphosis, the bar emerges as a poetic lantern. Crafted from perforated metal with a floral pattern, it filters light and interacts with porcelain flowers, petal-shaped wall sconces, and illuminated bookshelves. It also hosts the mixology conceived by Anne-Sophie Pic, extending her culinary approach through the interplay of balance and sensations.

The private lounges and main lounge become spaces for relaxation, connection, and contemplation, designed for different times of the day, from breakfast to the moments preceding the gastronomic experience. They also host the "4H", a sweet and savory offering conceived by Anne-Sophie Pic every Sunday afternoon.

More than a mere redesign, this transformation affirms the vision of Anne-Sophie Pic and David Sinapian: to evolve Maison Pic without ever letting it become static. Between heritage, light, and modernity, the new reception areas reveal a house in motion, true to its soul and open to renewal.
