Utopic opens up a new realm of possibilities in Paris

On September 4th, Anne-Sophie Pic and David Sinapian unveiled Utopic during a launch event dedicated to creativity. With this first Parisian cocktail bar, a dream nurtured for over fifteen years has come to life: to make drinks a true territory of expression in their own right.

I dreamed of Utopic as a box of elixirs: a bar where botanicals, perfumes, infusions, and creative drinks become a full-fledged field of expression.

Initial feedback has praised the originality and precision of the creations, developed from the aromatic frameworks dear to Anne-Sophie Pic. Among the cocktails sampled that evening, L’Orée combined rose geranium, spruce, and gin; Le Halo featured mandarin, saffron, passion tagetes, and tequila; while Le Sacrilège brought together black olives from Nyons, green Chartreuse, vanilla, and gin. These are just a few examples from a broader menu, where both alcoholic and non-alcoholic creations are approached with the same sense of freedom.

On the culinary side, several bites extended these flavor pairings. Among them, the Croq’ Utopic, made with truffled white ham and a Mornay sauce with Comté and smoked vanilla, left a lasting impression. For dessert, the XL Normandy Madeleine, served with Calvados caramel and vanilla ice cream, evoked a familiar, almost nostalgic indulgence. Once again, these are just a few glimpses of a finger food and sharing plate menu designed to let everyone curate their own experience.

And you, which creation will you choose to discover first?
